Passion and dedication are two qualities 28 year-old Minette Pereira swears by. And it is these very qualities that have propelled the artist, a freelance hair and make-up specialist, into the spotlight. Minette’s initiation in the world of make-up and hair styling was her mother who is herself a professional hairdresser. “I was just 14 when I would accompany my mother to work. I loved how she would completely transform her clients . Helping my mother out at work really inspired me.” she says. While her parents laid emphasis on academics, seeing her passion and dedication to the trade and more importantly, the vast strides she made, they warmed up to the idea that their highly qualified lawyer was also an extraordinarily successful Make Up Artist.
